Objectives

The main objective was to develop a classified ads project (iOS & Android app) for supporting the client to implement classified advertisements online. The client approached our Nextbrain professionals for developing a robust classified platform for selling ecommerce products/services. The platform serves as a one-stop solution for buyers and sellers.

Challenges

Our technical team faced many challenges during the development of this project. Our developers and experts performed a complete analysis of the competitor sites and their approach to buyer and seller interaction. Several challenges were faced regarding the classified ads project. The process of creating a user-friendly interface where users can place ads pertaining to real estate, goods, transportation, housing and many more. Here are the main challenges they have faced

  • We used a third-party SMS gateway for account login, but we experienced frequent attempts by hackers to create user accounts through our registration API.
  • Yemenmazad's application has over seventy thousand advertisements, which causes it to take a long time to load the page.

Solutions

After following rigorous research and analysis, we created an Android and iOS platform for classified ads. Our developers and professionals undertook design, development, metrics, and planning information architecture for delivering end-to-end final projects within a definite budget and time period.

  • To tackle hackers activity our developers added API request limit from one ip address that will hit only 5 times per minute.
  • To reduce the loading time we added cache in static data then its loading 100 records less then a second
