Job Description
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic HR Executive with expertise in recruitment, payroll, statutory compliance management, onboarding and offboarding. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in ensuring smooth HR operations, fostering a positive employee experience and maintaining compliance with all statutory requirements.
Responsibilities
- Recruitment
- Source, screen, and shortlist candidates through various channels such as job portals, social media, and employee referrals.
- Conduct interviews and coordinate with hiring managers to meet organizational talent needs.
- Manage end-to-end recruitment processes, including preparing offer letters and negotiating salary packages.
- Payroll Management
- Process monthly payroll, including salary calculations, deductions, and reimbursements.
- Ensure accuracy in payroll inputs and compliance with tax and labour laws.
- Address employee queries regarding payroll and benefits.
- Statutory Compliance
- Maintain and update statutory records as per labour laws (PF, ESI, etc.).
- Ensure timely filing of statutory returns and adherence to compliance requirements.
- Liaise with regulatory authorities and auditors during inspections and audits.
- Onboarding
- Joining and onboarding follow up with new candidates.
- Facilitate the onboarding process for new hires, including documentation.
- Offboarding
- Handle the exit formalities, including clearance processes and final settlements.
- Provide exit feedback reports to management.
- Employee Engagement & Relations
- Support in implementing employee engagement activities and initiatives.
- Act as a point of contact for employee grievances and resolve issues in a timely manner.
- HR Administration
- Maintain employee records, contracts and HR databases with high accuracy.
- Assist in HR policy creation and implementation.
- Generate HR reports and analytics as needed.
Skills
- 1 - 2 years of experience in HR operations with a strong focus on recruitment, payroll, and compliance.
- Bachelor’s degree in HR Management, Business Administration or a related field. MBA in HR is a plus.
- Knowledge of labour laws and statutory compliance requirements.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Problem-solving mindset and attention to detail.
